13 Game Reviews

I'm still in awe...

from this game, I finished it a few minuets ago - and before I continue this review, congratulations on making such an awesome, wonderful game.

The story was the only thing that put it down, it was amateur and a little too predictable, although - I enjoyed how you linked different parts of the story together, even though it was quite a basic storyline - it had a nice flow that made it brilliant.

The gameplay was fantastic, I love playing games like this - and out of all the shooter games I've played on Newgrounds, this would be one of the best ones I've played in a while, it wasn't just a 'pew pew pew' - it made me think about each level carefully to know who to execute :-)

I adore the artwork, I'm a sucker for noir and comic types of artwork, and you managed to pull it off with a bang, you nailed it well, there was nothing wrong with the artwork, it was simply perfect.

Overall, this game is perfect - I'd recommend it for anyone who likes shooters and are into a great storyline. It's that wonderful, it's going straight on my favourites, I can't wait to see other projects from you, and if possible a sequel.

Good work!

Needs a few improvements.

The first time I played this, I got easily frustrated with it - so I felt like giving this a shit review and score, however - I came back an hour later and did alot better.

For the game, losing £500 EACH time you lose a mission is a little annoying, when you have the default gun at the start, it's that crap you can hardly finish some of the missions, so for example, do a very simple mission - and earn £1500, but lose the next mission and you're fucked - how can I save for a gun if I keep losing vast amounts of money what if I'm new to this game or if I suck at the default gun?

To improve that, lower the amount of money lost each time you loose or perhaps make the default gun slightly more efficient. Was the man on lots of caffeine? - the gun wouldn't stop shaking, I mean I can understand slight vibrations, but it was wobbling a little TOO much.

However, after I was able to get a better gun (finally) - I did find it alot easier to clear most of the missions. So the gameplay improved after that. I started to enjoy the game more.

The artwork was amateur to say the least, but it worked well with the rest of the game. The cinematics were a nice little feature too.

Overall, decent game - needs a little polishing.

Not too bad.

The concept is perfect - however you've executed it poorly, quite alot of the questions are way too long, meaning I don't have time to read them, dodge & answer at the same time.

Although, the game itself is challenging, it's not the same ol' easy game I can complete or end in 5 minuets, this game could possibly keep me and many others occupied for hours.

To improve the game, I'd suggest adding power-ups that improve gameplay for a short period of time, like...
-Speed up
-Stopping the conveyor belt
-Lowering the amounts of knives (or slowering the speed they fall)

Overall, not a bad game - I'd recommend it for someone who likes challenges.
